Trevor Jones

We work closely with Dr Trevor Jones who has over 22 years’ experience in the assessment and management of environmental liabilities at a wide range of sites including nuclear, chemical, engineering and transportation facilities, power stations and landfills. He has provided technical and strategic advice to the issue holders at some of the most highly contaminated sites in the world. He has particular expertise in the management and disposal of radioactive and hazardous wastes from both the nuclear and non-nuclear sectors. He advised on permit issues associated with shale gas exploration and production and on the development of the UK strategy for the management of NORM wastes.

Rachel Wilkinson

A corporate commercial lawyer at an international law firm before spending 15 years as UK Counsel for a global chemicals and pharmaceuticals corporation, Rachel advises on a broad range of commercial negotiations and agreements, strategic planning for major acquisitions and disposals including due diligence, project management of site closures, preparatory work for disposals and integration of acquisitions.

Jane Kemp

Jane is a real estate strategist with a background as a commercial property lawyer in international law firms as well as in-house with a major UK developer. A skilled negotiator, Jane assists clients to arrive at the most suitable divestiture model taking into account relevant corporate drivers and the need to balance liability and risk mitigation with enhancement of commercial value. Where required Jane may help the client to manage the marketing and bid review processes, and commercial negotiations.

Marie Brittenden

Marie is an experienced litigator and manager of claims. Prior to her career in international law firms, Marie was called to the Bar and has since re-qualified as a solicitor advocate. Her specialities are commercial litigation, commodities disputes and dry shipping issues. She is equally at home litigating multi million dollar international disputes in the High Court, or high value claims before an arbitrator or specialist tribunal. Her advocacy background makes her a very effective manager of counsel and external experts.
